"Let's Set Sail" Nautical Themed Cupcakes

I cut these sailboat "sails" out of nautical themed paper to make the cupcake toppers! The outline of the sail is included in the free printable offered below! Stick a wooden cake pop stick through the paper sails and place in the center of the cupcakes.
I ordered a pack of 30 white cupcakes with buttercream icing from the Sam's Club bakery for $14.98! I just love a good deal, and I did not want to be worrying about making cupcakes as I'm preparing for the party.
Time Saver: Purchase these Nautical Theme Cupcake Topper Picks if you do not have time to make your own.

Sailboat Cake Topper

I made a DIY sailboat cake topper out of a piece of packaging paper and nautical print card stock. I simply cut out the pieces for the sailboat and hot glued them on a small dal rod.
We ordered a small cake to match the smash cake to be the food table centerpiece! I was able to save a lot of money going the route of a small cake accompanied by cupcakes.
Time Saver: Order a regular sized cake and add a sailboat cake topper like this Hampton Nautical Blue Striped Pacific Sailer.

Fish and Chips

One of the easiest party foods to offer at a nautical themed birthday! One party size bag of Ruffle's Potato Chips and 1-2 bags of original goldfish! Throw a small sand shovel in the bowl to serve as a scooper! Print the nautical themed food label for "fish and chips" to set on display beside the dish. The food labels are offered in the free printable below!

Driftwood

Another simple nautical party food! Grab 1-2 bags of pretzel sticks and print out the cute nautical themed food label offered in the free printable below!

Anchor's Aweigh Donut Holes

We found these cute little Anchor's Aweigh Nautical Party Wood Picks and placed one in each donut hole! This snack was a HUGE hit, especially for the kiddos that came to the party!

Sailor Knots

Buy 3 dozen garlic bread knots. I picked mine up at the Sam's bakery, and baked them about thirty minutes before the party! They are also sold in the frozen section at most grocery stores. This was another big hit that got eaten so quickly during the party.

Seaweed Dip

Purchase 1-2 jars of spinach & artichoke dip. Serve with your choice of chips or crackers. Secure the seaweed dip label from the free printable onto a wooden cake pop stick and place in the bowl of dip, or fold in half and display on the side of the dish.

Rice Krispie Rafts

Purchase or make some Rice Krispie treats and cut them into small rectangles. Cut out the rectangular sail from the template on the free printable. Stick a toothpick through two places on the rectangular sail and place in the center of each Rice Krispie treat to make your rafts. Print the food label from the free download below and place it next to the serving dish.

Under the Sea Party Punch

Make this under the sea party punch with 1 large can of Dole pineapple juice, 1 blue Hawaiian punch, a 2-liter bottle of Sprite and 2 handfuls of Swedish fish. Printable "Under the Sea Party Punch" label included in the free download offered below!
We served this punch in Nautical Plastic Cups with Sailor Themed Party Paper Straws!

Catch of the Day Favor Bags

Print "Catch of the Day" labels from the free printable. Grab a stapler. Fill a small, clear favor bag halfway with goldfish and fold the favor label in half over the tap. Secure the bottom two corners with staples.
